Work Experience
Since the diagnosis of cancer among several of Megha’s family members, Megha has concentrated her career on providing medical care for oncology patients and emotional support to their family members.
As an APRN, Megha now continues her journey as a Healthcare Provider while advocating for exceptional outcomes for cancer patients.
Leading and mentoring nurses while advocating for exceptional outcomes for cancer patients. Overseeing daily operations, ensuring patient safety, and guiding staff through complex situations are just a few of her responsibilities. Megha draws on her years of oncology experience and strong leadership skills to manage assignments, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families.
Played a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients battling cancer. Administering medications, managing symptoms, conducting assessments, and educating patients and families. Worked collaboratively with the healthcare team, following protocols and ensuring a safe environment for patients. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and clinical skills and made a positive impact on the lives of those navigating cancer.
Provided holistic care to women facing gynecological cancers. Performed comprehensive assessments, administering medications and managing symptoms, educating patients and families on their diagnoses and treatment options. Made a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives.
Megha’s team managed Breast Cancer Awareness project through Ticket of Cure program funded by Illinois Department of Public Health targeting minority population women as participants
Responsible for translating prescriptions from mail orders. She handled doctor phone calls related to prescription clarifications. Resolved patient conflicts. These responsibilities required an ability to perform dosage calculations, knowledge of HIPAA laws, ICD-9 diagnosis codes and knowledge of drug names.
